We built this service for one reason: short-term borrowing should be easy to understand before anyone signs anything.
What we do
Bear Loans Online is an online-only service that connects U.S. borrowers with lenders and lending partners in our network. You send one request instead of filling out forms on many sites. We don't lend money and never make credit decisions.
How we write
Our guides are written and reviewed by the Bear Loans Online Editorial Team. We follow a few rules:
- Every cost example shows the math, and you can check it in our calculator
- We explain when a loan is the wrong choice and point to cheaper options
- We link to public sources such as the CFPB, FTC, and NCUA for rules and rights
- We don't publish invented reviews, ratings, or testimonials
- We update pages when laws or lender practices change, and show the date
How we're paid
Lenders or partners may compensate us when you submit a request or accept a loan. That payment never comes from you and doesn't raise your loan's cost. It also doesn't change what we write in our guides. Full details are in our advertising disclosure.
