What is Bear Loans Online?

Bear Loans Online is an independent loan connecting service. You send one online request, and we pass it to lenders and lending partners in our network that may be able to offer you a loan.

Is Bear Loans Online a direct lender?

No. We don't make loans or credit decisions. The lender that reviews your request sets the rate and terms and services the loan.

Does it cost anything to use Bear Loans Online?

No. Submitting a request is free, and you are never obligated to accept an offer. Lenders may pay us, which doesn't change your loan's cost.

Will my credit score be affected?

Sending the request doesn't affect your FICO® score. Lenders usually start with a soft inquiry. A hard inquiry happens only if you proceed with a lender, and it tells you first.

How much can I request?

Requests up to $5,000 are accepted. Offers depend on your income, your state's limits, and the lender, so you may be offered less.

How long does the form take?

Most people finish in about five minutes. Having your ID, income details, and bank information ready helps.

How quickly will I get the money?

If you're approved and sign before the lender's cutoff on a business day, funds often arrive the next business day. Weekends and holidays add time.

Can I apply with bad credit?

Yes. Many lenders in our network consider income and banking history alongside your credit score. A lower score usually means a higher APR, and approval isn't guaranteed.

What do I need to apply?

You generally need to be 18 or older (19 in some states), live in a state the lender serves, have regular income, an active checking account, a phone number, an email address, and a valid ID. See the requirements page.

What APR will I get?

Your APR is set by the lender and depends on your state, credit profile, amount, and term. Some short-term loans carry APRs well above 36%. You'll see the exact APR before you sign.

Are Bear Loans online available in every state?

No. Availability depends on state law and which states each lender serves. The form sends your request only to lenders allowed to lend where you live.

Do I have to accept an offer?

No. You can review an offer and decline it with no cost or penalty.

Can I pay my loan off early?

Many lenders allow early payoff without a penalty, which can reduce interest. Check your agreement to confirm.

What happens if I miss a payment?

You may be charged late or returned-payment fees, and the lender may report the missed payment to credit bureaus. Contact your lender before the due date if you expect a problem.

Who do I contact about my loan after it's funded?

Your lender. Its name and contact details are on your loan agreement. We can't change your loan's terms or payment dates.

How is my personal information protected?

Your form is sent over an encrypted connection and shared only with parties needed to process your request. Read our privacy policy for details.

Why am I getting calls or texts after submitting?

By submitting, you agreed to be contacted about your request. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to texts or asking the caller to add you to its do-not-call list.

Is Bear Loans Online related to other bear-named lenders?

No. We aren't affiliated with any other company, app, or website that uses a similar name.
